Buddhismus diamantové cesty

Diamond Way Buddhism comprises over 620 lay Karma Kagyu Buddhist groups and centers worldwide founded by the Danish couple Lama Ole and Hannah Nydahl and under the spiritual direction of H.H. 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje. Click here to learn more about Diamond Way Buddhism.

Europe Center

The Europe Center (EC) is the seat of Lama Ole and the Diamond Way organization, and the main meeting point for all Diamond Way centers worldwide.  It is located in the foothills of the German Alps near the borders with Switzerland and Austria.  The EC currently houses around 15 full-time residents, and a steady flow of long and short-term guests.  In addition to its day-to-day program, the center hosts weekend courses of up to 400 people throughout the year, and several larger courses with as many as 3000 in attendance.

Diamond Way Buddhism Foundation

Idealism and small contributions from Diamond Way Buddhists worldwide enabled the purchase of the EC and remain the lifeblood of its continued development. The EC is owned, in turn, by the Diamond Way Buddhism Foundation, a German non-profit organization, which ensures the accessibility and preservation of the Diamond Way Buddhist tradition in the West.  Under the spiritual authority of the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje, the Foundation particularly serves to protect the lifework of Lama Ole and Hannah Nydahl.
